ACC Academic Consortium: a multi-program website built for clarity and handoff

The ACC Academic Consortium connects academic initiatives across member universities. I developed its website as a coherent, usable public resource and an editable operating asset for the organization behind it.

01

Making academic programs easier to find and navigate

The organization brings together academic leadership, student research, innovation, competitions, events, and grants. That breadth needs clear information architecture: visitors should understand what the Consortium does and find the right program without understanding its internal structure first.

02

Website strategy, responsive development and CMS handoff

I led site strategy, structure, content, copy direction, responsive design and development, and a backend workflow its team could manage independently. The goal was both a better visitor experience and an effective handoff to the people who would keep the site current.

03

An institutional website the team could maintain

A live institutional website organizing research, innovation, leadership programs, news and practical access to program information.

04

Designing for visitors and content owners

A successful website should work for two audiences: the people who use it and the people who are responsible for maintaining it.

“Jarrod designed and built the entire ACCAC website from scratch and revitalized our digital presence. What makes him exceptional is his ability to operate as a true end-to-end partner. You hand him an initiative, and he delivers a complete, scalable asset without needing to be managed.”
