VENTURE-BACKED SOFTWARE / GROWTH LEADERSHIP

Huddl'n: leading growth as active users increased from ~5K to 60K+

I joined Huddl'n, an early-stage creator and social platform, as its third team member and served as Director of Growth & Marketing. In a small venture-backed team, the work crossed acquisition, creator onboarding, brand, community, partnerships and product collaboration.

01

Growing an early-stage creator platform

An early-stage platform doesn't have a mature marketing machine. It needs creators and users to understand the value, participate, return, and invite others. As the company grew, those jobs could not be separated cleanly into traditional departmental boxes.

02

Creator acquisition, onboarding and lifecycle marketing

I led growth and marketing functions across creator outreach and onboarding, launch campaigns, content, partnerships, community programming and audience engagement. I worked directly with founders and technical teammates to identify friction in the experience and translate behavioral feedback into clearer messaging, product decisions and new experiments. Creator work included direct coordination with hundreds of artists and musicians.

03

Active-user growth from ~5K to 60K+

Active users increased from approximately 5,000 to more than 60,000 during my tenure—roughly 12 times the original level. That number describes the platform's growth during a team effort; it is not a count of paying users or evidence that one individual caused every gain.

04

Why product, community and retention need to work together

Growth is rarely one channel. Adoption depends on the alignment of product experience, community, acquisition, partnerships and a reason to come back.

Have an adoption or growth problem that crosses functions?
